New Feats
Armorer Artisan
Prerequisite: At least 6 ranks in Craft (Armorsmithing)
Benefit: You gain 2 Armor Modification slots that you can use to learn some of the Armor Modifications found under the Armor Modifications list.
Normal: You gain a new Armor Modification when you gain 1 rank in Craft (Armorsmithing). After that, you gain a new Armor Modification every time you gain 4 ranks in Craft (Armorsmithing).
Bowmaking Artisan
Prerequisite: At least 6 ranks in Craft (Bowmaking)
Benefit: You gain 2 Ranged Weapon Modification slots that you can use to learn some of the Ranged Weapon Modifications found under the Weapon Ranged Modifications list.
Normal: You gain a new Ranged Weapon Modification when you gain 1 rank in Craft (Bowmkaing). After that, you gain a new Ranged Weapon Modification every time you gain 4 ranks in Craft (Bowmaking).
Gemstone Imbuement
Prerequisite: Craft Magic Arms and Armor
Benefit: You can imbue gemstones to enhance their natural magic properties, enabling them to give special abilities to any armor or weapon into which they are affixed. To make an imbued gemstone, you must pay 1/25 of the gemstone’s price in XP, and use raw materials costing half of the items base price. Broken gemstones can not be repaired.
Some gemstones are naturally magical and will grant a bonus to any weapon or armor that they are affixed to, even if they haven’t been imbued. Such gemstones can still be imbued to grant a greater bonus. The materials list below contains all gemstones that can be created with the Gemstone Imbuement feat. If you are going to imbue a gemstone that grants a bonus even in its un-imbued form, then you must first get a hold of an un-imbued type of that gemstone before you can create the imbued variant.
High Temperature Forging
Prerequisite: None
Benefit: You know the techniques necessary for forging materials at far higher temperatures normally used in a crafting process. This makes it easier for you to work with special materials that are otherwise hard to manipulate. The Crafting DC modifier of special materials is reduced by -5. The Crafting DC modifier of a special material can never be reduced to less than 0. This feat only reduces the Crafting DC of items made from metal.
Weapon Forging Artisan
Prerequisite: At least 6 ranks in Craft (Weaponsmithing)
Benefit: You gain 2 Melee Weapon Modification slots that you can use to learn some of the Melee Weapon Modifications found under the Melee Weapon Modifications list.
Normal: You gain a new Melee Weapon Modification when you gain 1 rank in Craft (Weaponsmithing). After that, you gain a new Melee Weapon Modification every time you gain 4 ranks in Craft (Weaponsmithing).
